Job fairs 2021 – We were there!

Job and career fairs are a good opportunity for students and other young professionals to come into direct contact with companies. They also enable contact between students, graduates, professionals and job seekers. They are a good opportunity to make “personal” contact!


The Night of the Companies :

The Night of Companies 2021 took place in Aachen in October and we were part of it!

For the fourteenth time, university graduates, young professionals and skilled workers met companies from the region. The interested parties came from the fields of engineering, business administration, natural sciences, computer science and the humanities and social sciences.
Every year, the Night of Companies provides information about companies as well as contacts and opportunities to talk to potential employers.


In addition, as part of the Night of Companies Aachen, anyone interested had the opportunity to visit the participating companies on various bus tours and take a look behind the scenes of the companies.

It was a lot of fun for us to be able to present our company again on site and in person and to have many interesting conversations. Especially under these circumstances, we were very pleased to get in touch with people again and to be able to introduce ourselves to students who are looking for further career steps.


At the stand of the competence network “Family-friendly companies in the Aachen region” we presented our company together with great other employers from the region. As a new member, we were warmly welcomed into the network and together we had a great event with shared exchange.


We were very happy about every visit and every conversation!


When it fits, it fits!

The second fair we were looking forward to was the online recruiting fair “Wenn’s passt, dann passt’s” in November.


Students, job seekers and people re-entering the STEM field asked questions – companies from the region answered! What do the participating companies do? What do career paths for female engineers look like there? How flexible are the companies with regard to the compatibility of family and career? Can I do an internship or write a thesis there?


Our managing director, Janina Keuters, was there live. In addition, our marketing expert, Marina Henkelmann, introduced us on Aachen University Radio and answered the questions of the presenter, Tim Schmier!



Here is a short excerpt of the interview:

tetys is a young, family-run and medium-sized company with its headquarters in Aachen. We offer software for manufacturing companies. Our industrial software offers the necessary support for digital production. On the one hand, this means transparent planning, better production data acquisition and consistent quality management.


Why is your company so interesting?

We offer our students interesting projects, especially in the areas of AI, web development and BIG DATA. Therefore, we are mainly looking for front-end and back-end developers, but project managers and students from the field of mechanical engineering are also welcome to join us. We are practice-oriented and welcome anyone who wants to join us.


What are the career opportunities for students and newcomers?

At tetys, the chances of promotion look good. In the past, some colleagues have joined us full-time as student assistants or after writing their thesis. With us, you are part of the team from day 1 and then we see together where the journey takes us!


How big is your company?

We are currently 47 employees and are happy to welcome new team members.


Where is tetys located?

We are located in Kackertstraße in Aachen-Laurensberg.


What further training opportunities does tetys offer?

At tetys, everyone is a team member from day 1. We take new employees by the hand and introduce them to the big picture. The further education of our employees is very important to us, which is why we make sure that everyone can attend a training course at least once a year. We also make use of other training opportunities, but this is done on an individual basis and we look at where the employee would like to develop and how we can support our team members in this respect.
