Successful change of name: FLS and GRP merge to form tetys GmbH & Co. KG
Expansion of the holistic shop floor solution under the new name tetys

On 1 January 2021, the two Aachen-based companies successfully completed the merger and change of name to the new tetys GmbH & Co. KG was successfully completed. The business is now to be further expanded together with the current and other potential customers. The existing contact persons and services will remain in place for customers and partners.
tetys enables manufacturing companies to adapt to new boundary conditions with high dynamics and flexibility and to communicate the changed planning within minutes down to the plant level and to each individual machine. It combines detailed planning, MES, PDA, quality assurance during production, materials management and all other areas of production in a uniform, integrated system. This overarching, holistic concept takes up the three pillars of the two companies: Planning, shop floor recording and – looking to the future – the topic of intelligence. The latter focuses on future-oriented solutions in production.
This comprehensive approach offers you the greatest possible flexibility in the choice of solution elements. Both systems are modular in design so that they can be adapted exactly to the respective needs. Janina Keuters, as the new managing partner and former managing director of FLS, also makes this clear once again:

GRP and FLS
GRP and FLS were founded in Aachen in 1979. The core product of FLS is the detailed planning software FEKOR for production coordination, which also covers the entire materials management within production. GRP focuses on Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) in the manufacturing industry. In order to combine the expertise of the two areas even more, everything has been offered from a single source since 2016. As dual leaders, Manfred Keuters, Managing Director of GRP, and Janina Keuters, Managing Director of FLS, led both companies into the future.
A first result of the merging of FLS and GRP was the merging of the software products “FEKOR” and “GRP-MES” into the software suite “tetys”. It combines planning with data acquisition on the shop floor level and paves the way for networked, intelligent and self-optimising production in an increasingly digital manufacturing environment.
The customers of both companies include numerous companies in the plastics, food, automotive supplier and metal industries, such as Eaton, Geberit, HEWI, P&G and Warema.
