Sales representatives promise numerous features in glossy brochures, but once the system has been rolled out, the competent experts disappear on a plane – and, unfortunately, this always seems to happen precisely when essential, far-reaching adjustments to the physical machine terminal are urgently needed in the rigours of day-to-day production. We are owner-managed. Janina Keuters, as managing partner, leads the company alongside the managing directors Michael Keuters and Yannik Wirtz. As software pioneers based on the RWTH Aachen Campus, we are technological visionaries, yet we have remained thoroughly down-to-earth. And you can tell that from our team of almost 50 people. Hands-on. Pragmatic. Collaborative. And warm-hearted Rhinelanders who embody the spirit of the Mittelstand.
Stability built on decades of experience
Our roots lie in the companies FLS and GRP, which were founded in the 1970s in the vicinity of RWTH Aachen University and grew through innovative software in the fields of MES and APS. These companies merged to form tetys and provide the constantly evolving foundation for tetys companion – the modular software for production planning and control.

Our down-to-earth consultancy advice is developed on the often noisy factory floor, not in the isolated, air-conditioned boardroom. As engineers and production planners, we speak with genuine conviction, using the direct and clear language of the plant manager and the shift supervisor on the production line.

In 2021, a strategic milestone year, we have finally united two historically separate, extremely powerful core competencies within a single software core through the synergistic and harmonious merger of our predecessor companies, GRP and FLS: GRP’s high-precision, in-depth BDE/MDE data acquisition logic and FLS’s highly sophisticated, purely algorithmic APS detailed planning engine.
This visionary merger gave rise to tetys – the industry’s most powerful holistic production management system.
