The MES Tools module tracks the usage of your production resources—particularly your tools—with cycle-by-cycle precision based on actual usage; to achieve this, the live cycle counter for your tools is directly linked to the machine cycle. If the tool reaches a wear limit you have defined (e.g., after 50,000 punching cycles), the module automatically triggers a corresponding maintenance order and blocks the tool from future production until it is released again by your maintenance department.
