In 1979, the two companies FLS and GRP were founded from the IKV at RWTH Aachen University - both with a focus on PDA solutions and the digitalization of manufacturing companies. Since the first system installations, FLS and GRP have worked together in numerous customer situations. This has resulted in comprehensive and holistic solutions that have aroused enthusiasm across all industries. For example, the international sanitary giant Geberit - a customer since 1986 - uses both FLS and GRP in its production.

Over the years, the software has developed into a modular system that can be adapted precisely to the needs of the respective production and industry. The software was initially offered for the Windows operating system and later, from 2014, also as a cross-platform, web-based solution.

After GRP was acquired by Manfred Keuters in 2010 and FLS by Janina Keuters in 2016, the joint software solution tetys - a merger of the two companies - matured in 2020. As a result, the two companies operated under one roof in 2021 and became tetys GmbH & Co. KG.

Just under a year later, the MES business of Kistler Aachen GmbH was taken over. The product profile and expertise were thus expanded once again.

Michael Keuters and Yannik Wirtz joined the management team on January 1, 2023. Both have been part of the company since tetys was founded in 2021. Together with managing partner Janina Keuters, the two will continue to drive the company forward in the future. "With this new management team, we have set up the management team for the coming years. Our customers, business partners, employees and their families are our top priority. And they will all benefit very quickly from fresh impetus and methods," said Janina Keuters.
