A story about happiness and how we celebrate it at the tetys excellence days

When I talk about what really drives me, my first thoughts are not usually about quarterly figures or market shares.

What makes me happy, both personally and professionally, is the success and happiness of other people.

At home, I see this almost every day at the moment: when my son rode his bike on his own for the first time and I let go of the saddle. There was a mixture of pride and uncertainty on his face. With each day of further practice, the initial uncertainty gave way and turned into pure curiosity.

Today, he is absolutely crazy about soccer. Not that I actively encouraged this (apart from buying him a Germany jersey during last year's European Championship 😉). Every time he comes home from daycare, he heads straight for the closet where his jersey is hanging. Then he plays soccer outside or, alternatively, in the hallway. And me? Of course, I have to join in—either as an opponent or a goalkeeper. I, too, have to put on a soccer jersey almost every day after I come home from the office. Seeing him with this passion fills me with great happiness, even if my favorite living room lamp is dangerously in the line of fire.

The same goes for the sparkling eyes of my daughter, who has been crawling around our living room with astonishing determination for two weeks now. Every little bit of progress she makes in her newly acquired mobility fills her with a satisfaction that is so contagious that it makes me very happy too.

And then I realized that this very feeling is also the basis of our work at tetys. It is a very similar deep joy when we successfully digitize a process with our customers and partners, when a joint project not only achieves but exceeds the set goals, and when all the cogs mesh perfectly, just as planned during the sales phase and concept development. It's that feeling when a customer compliments us on our service and we see that they feel well taken care of and understood in our alliance. It's more than just business—it's a partnership based on trust, appreciation, and the desire for mutual success.

We will be bringing this philosophy to a very special stage in November.

We are inviting our partners to the first tetys excellence days, which will take place at our research partner SKZ in Würzburg. There, we want to celebrate our customers' impressive successes and show our appreciation for their trust and cooperation. It is our way of honoring the stories that motivate us every day and form the foundation for our shared future.

As the highlight of the event, we will present four tetys Awards in various categories for the first time, officially recognizing the outstanding work of our partners.

It will be a day to pause and celebrate—but also to network, exchange ideas, and set the course for our next joint successes.

At the end of the day, it is precisely this feeling that drives us.

The tetys excellence days are therefore more than just an event – they are a celebration of the partnership itself. A promise that we will continue to build on this foundation of shared joy and appreciation in the future. Because only when we make our partners' successes our own can we truly achieve great things.
